A new and different buzz surrounded this years Shluchim Group Photo after photographer Chaim Perl spent about a minute in front of the crowd – with a camera on a strange contraption – before the ‘official’ photo was taken. At the Kinus Hashluchim, following the ‘roll call,’ the entire roomful of 4,600 Rabbis and laymen rose to their feet for several minutes of joyous singing and dancing.
