Inaccurate Attempted Murder Story Causes Panic
A news story involving Crown Heights Shomrim and an ‘attempted murder’ appeared on a Hebrew language Chabad news website, concerning a non-Jewish cleaning lady ‘who attempted to harm’ her Jewish employer with a knife. Shomrim fielded multiple calls from panicking residents as the story began making rounds on social media sites.
Monsey Jewish Day School Goes Modular
Early last May, a truck arrived at a leafy construction site in, Airmont, NY bearing an entire classroom wrapped in Tyvek. Just seven weeks later, and after many more trucks rolled in carrying similar loads, a two story, 24,000 square foot school building had completely risen from its concrete foundation.
Yeshivas Beis Menachem in Manalapan, NJ organized a Farbrengen for the local community in honor of the completion of Sefer Nashim in Rambam and the birthday of a local congregant. The Farbrengen was attended as well by several Skverer Chasidim.
