This past Sunday, women of all ages gathered at a lovely Brunch to celebrate the Volunteer work of Rebbetzin Chaya Mushka Bikur Cholim of Crown Heights and commemorate the Rebbetzin’s 113th birthday. The Bais Rivkah High School biennial Shabbaton was greatly anticipated this year. As a sophomore who had never gone before, I didn’t understand the hype for Shabbaton. I didn’t get how it would be different from every other program the school makes. But I sure was in for a surprise.
