Alternate Side Parking Rules Suspended Monday

Alternate Side Parking regulations are suspended Monday, February 2, to facilitate snow removal. Payment at parking meters will remain in effect throughout the city.

The Department of Sanitation is unable to service any alleyways due to icy conditions. If you would like pick up service, please bring your garbage to the end of the alleyways for pick up.

Reb Moshe Chaim Sapochkinsky recalls traveling to New York in honor of the first yohrtzeit of Rabbi Yosef Yitzchak Schneerson, the Previous Rebbe. He was present at the historic event when a group of elder chasidim petitioned the Rebbe to accept the leadership of Chabad-Lubavitch, which the Rebbe had previously declined to do.
