On Friday, August 7th, at around 6:00am, Ziza Djordjevic, 56, owner of the kosher Best Cake Bakery, was smoking a cigarette behind her establishment, when 2 men approached her, shot her in the face, and ran off with her apron, which is where they must have known she keeps her money. Every Friday she brings in cash to pay her workers.

A 44-year-old man was robbed at knifepoint in Crown Heights this week by a man who forced his victim to buy him two sandwiches, then ordered him to drain his bank account at a nearby ATM.

Bais Rivkah Day Camp ended off the summer with a bang! The last day of camp started off with a drum circle, where each girl got a chance to make music with her own drum. At lunch time, campers started waiting by the gate, excited to see their parents join them for a Grand Camp BBQ.
