Marty Glade, a 90-year old Holocaust survivor, dances with a new Sefer Torah he donated to Chabad of North Ranch, CA, directed by Rabbi Shlomo Bistritzky. The new Torah was dedicated in memory of the victims who perished in the Holocaust.
Gala Dinner Fetes 24 Years of Chabad in Riverdale
The Tappan Hill Mansion in Tarrytown, New York, was filled on a Saturday evening last month as 250 supporters, friends, and Chabad Early Learning Center parents gathered to celebrate Chabad of Riverdale’s 24th anniversary. Among the distinguished guests were Senator Joe and Hadassah Lieberman.
‘Our Big Kitchen’ Hosts Shabbos Meal on Sydney Beach
Our Big Kitchen, a Sydney soup kitchen directed by Chabad Shliach Rabbi Dovid Slavin, hosted a Friday afternoon ‘Shabbos meal’ on Tamarama Beach, which was attended by 150 friends and supporters of the organization.
Wednesday: Rally at the Ohel
On Wednesday, 15 Adar I (February 24), there will be a rally at the Ohel for all children ages 5 to 12, featuring arts & crafts, refreshments and a raffle. Buses will leave 770 at 5:00pm and return at 7:30pm. Transportation will cost $3.
