Historic Event Unites Rowan Jewish Students and Faculty
Billed as “Shabbat for 120,” 140 students and faculty filled a specially erected tent on the grounds of Chabad at Rowan University in Glassboro, NJ, on April 1 for a traditional Shabbat dinner. The historic event, which was sponsored by Chabad at Rowan and AEPhi, was the largest Shabbat dinner ever at Rowan and likely the the biggest ever Jewish event at the university.

Rebbe’s Edits on 1950 Sicha Discovered
An early talk from the Rebbe, delivered at the aufruf kiddush of Mr. Chaim Chanowitz, which took place in 770 on Shabbos parshas Chukas in 1950, was recently discovered with edits of the Rebbe by Lubavitch Archives. The talk was previously published unedited, and is one of a few edited talks by the Rebbe discovered after 3 Tamuz, 1994.

Torah Welcomed to North Miami Beach Yeshiva
On Sunday, 24 Adar II, Yeshiva Torah Ohr of North Miami Beach held a Hachnasas Sefer Torah. The Torah was one of six Torahs that Leonardo Farkas of Chile donated this year’s Kinus Hashluchim, in which a new Torah was sent to six continents.
