Alternate Side Rules Suspended Wednesday

$25 Million Security Grant for NY Religious Schools
NYC Councilman David G. Greenfield congratulated Governor Andrew Cuomo, after Cuomo’s proposal this week to spend $25 million to provide security for non-public schools throughout the state. Cuomo’s measure echoes Greenfield’s own historic law, passed with overwhelming support in 2016, that provides free security guards for nearly every non-public school in New York City including yeshivas and Catholic schools.
