A car slammed onto a busy sidewalk in Times Square about an hour ago, killing at least one person and injuring 22 others. Police say the incident is not terror related.

Chabad House Garden Protects an Endangered Species

Controversial Crown Heights Homeless Shelter Opens
A new homeless shelter in Crown Heights – located just a block away from the Bais Rivkah Girls’ School – has officially opened its doors yesterday despite much opposition from local residents. However, this morning, a judge blocked the shelter from admitting any new residents pending the ongoing litigation.
