And the story I have to tell here is how my family – despite the indisputable logic of the naysayers and despite our own finely-honed business sense – invested in a textile business in Israel, knowing it would be a losing proposition. Kehot Releases Book of Reb Levi Yitzchoks Teachings

Levi Yitzchak Schneerson, the father of the Rebbe, Kehot Publication Society has just released “An Inner Perspective,” a book based on his Kabbalistic writings. $50 Million in Legacies Pledged to Chabad

Myrna Horton, 84, was eager to talk about why she decided to leave a legacy gift to Chabad of Tustin, Calif. “I feel so good knowing that some of my estate will be used for children’s education. It’s so important for children to learn about their religion,” she told Chabad.org.

Singer Releases Debut Single “Mi Adir”

In the times of the second Beis Hamikdash, Tu B’av was a day of celebration and one for matchmaking amongst Jewish singles who longed to build a Bayis Neeman. It is with that in mind that newcomer Shmuly Hurwitz is releasing his debut single “Mi Adir”. The song was originally composed for his wife. It is now being released with the hope that this year will bring many shidduchim for all singles worldwide.

Holocaust Survivors’ Unexpected Mitzvah

They sit there day in and day out. Holocaust survivors volunteering at the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum in Washington, D.C. and on a recent Wednesday, they had an unusual experience. They met with a group of young students who had just toured the museum. Members of the Yeshivas Kayitz of Pittsburgh, they were fascinated to hear the elderly gentlemen’s stories. But then one of the boys asked a question that was unrelated to the presentation: “Would you like to put on tefillin?”
