Some 20,000 participants just concluded the JLI spring course, “What is?” Studying at 400 different locations around the globe, for six weeks, students delved into deep, esoteric concepts in Chassidus.

Weekly Letter: Preparing for Gimmel Tammus
In his letter of condolence to a bereaved, the Rebbe speaks of the proper state of mind despite the pain, the eternity of the soul and its release from the restraints. Interestingly – the Rebbe calls attention to and comments on the date, Gimmel Tammuz – on which the correspondent wrote her letter. The letter, written originally in English, is from the archives of the Rebbe’s trusted secretary Rabbi Nissan Mindel.

In a letter sent out to parents and faculty, Oholei Torahs Board of Directors accused a Chabad ‘community news’ website of “blackmail and extortion without even the slightest regard for integrity, truth and fairness” in the wake of comments that they posted maligning the Moisad and its functions.
Friendship Circle Holds “Art of Friendship” Event
This past Sunday, the Friendship Circle of Brooklyn hosted their annual “Art of Friendship” Gallery, featuring original artwork created the members of the organization. After many months of working on these creations, hundreds of people from the community and beyond came to view the beautiful gallery.
