Cheder Levi Yitzchok seeks an experienced and passionate kodesh educator to assume a Full Time leadership and teaching role with our new Year 9 pre-Mesivta program in Melbourne, Australia.
WHO WE ARE
Cheder Levi Yitzchok is a Chabad Lubavitch registered school (Primary and Secondary), dedicated to the teachings of the Lubavitcher Rebbe. Through a traditional Kodesh curriculum, integrated with a general studies program, the school seeks to imbue students with Yiras Shamayim, Hiskashrus to the Rebbe and an altruistic mindset. The Head of Year 9 reports to the Principal of the School. The position will attract a salary and teaching load as determined through discussion on appointment.

This coming Shabbos, the fifth of Kislev, is the yahrzheit of Reb Shlomo Eliezer HaLevi Eidels, better known as the Maharsha, whose commentary on the entire Gemorah as well as on the Aggaditas (the stories in the Gemorah) are well known. This story took place towards the end of his life in the city of Ostroh, Ukraine, where he was the Rov.
