Crown Heights Shomrim has published an alert notifying the community of a man that has attempted to lure children and approach adults in Crown Heights. If you see this man, please call 911 and Crown Heights Shomrim immediately at 718-774-3333.
It’s beyond laughable. As the community continues to report tragedy after tragedy – all while keeping to the guidelines put in place by the government and Rabbonim – a group of bochurim were arrested after one broke into 770 while it was closed to slow the spread of the deadly COVID-19 virus.
For 33 years, Rabbi Zvi Hirsch Telsner has served as a Chabad Shliach in London, England, including 23 years as the rabbi of the Finchely Central Synagogue (from 1983 until 2006). More recently, he has taught at the Yeshivah Centre in Melbourne, Australia. He was interviewed by JEM’s My Encounter Project three times in June of 2014.
In appreciation for the lifesaving work of the Crown Heights Hatzalah, Holesome Bagel and Kettle n Cord teamed up to donate pizza and bagels Motzei Yom Tov to the volunteers on the front lines.
