The CKids Dreidel-Bot goes Viral

With Chanukah here, it’s important for Jewish children to learn about the Festival of Lights in a fun and engaging way. CKids, a branch of Merkos 302, has been making that happen with the Maccabee Makerspace program that it recently launched.

State of Emergency in France

A state of emergency has been requested by French President Emmanuel Macron. The decision for state of emergency was made following deadly mass protests throughout France, that have seen a few deaths, and many injured.

Menorah in Hollands Parliament

On Sunday, the presidents of the first and second chambers (parliament and senate) of the Dutch Government in The Hague received a menorah. Parliament members from the different political parties attended the menorah lighting ceremony, as well as shluchim from across the country.

Brooklyn’s Largest Menorah Kicks Off

Over 2,500 people braved the rain and celebrated the Jewish holiday of Chanukah at the annual kickoff concert at Brooklyn’s Largest Menorah. Entertaining the enthused crowd were local sensations Pey Dalid and Shulem.
