Man Hails Cab in Crown Heights, Then Robs Driver
Authorities are looking for a man who they say hailed a yellow cab in Crown Heights, then robbed the driver after being taken to Brownsville. The perpetrator is still at large.

Video: Enraged Arab Destroys Kosher Supermarket
Following President Trump’s announcement recognizing Jerusalem as the capital of Israel, this morning, an Arab wearing a Keffiyah and holding a Palestinian flag took a baseball bat to a kosher supermarket in Amsterdam, while police stood by and watched. Only after the supermarket was destroyed, did they intervene and arrest him.
200,000 Forced to Flee California Wildfires
Hundreds of Los Angeles area schools shut their doors on Thursday as raging wildfires wreaked havoc on Southern California, forcing about 200,000 people to flee and destroying hundreds of houses.
Alternate Side Parking Rules Suspended Friday
Alternate side parking (street cleaning) regulations will be suspended Friday, December 8, for a Catholic holiday. All other regulations, including parking meters, remain in effect.

Chanukah Celebrated in Australia’s Parliament
On the last sitting day of Australia’s Parliament and Senate, Thursday, December 7th, the Jewish festival of Chanukah was celebrated at the now-yearly “Chanukah on the Hill” event. In attendance were the Jewish politicians from the House of Representatives and the Senate, as well as other politicians from all sides of politics who came to enjoy and learn from the joyous festival.

House Votes to Suspend US Aid to Palestinians
The Republican-led House easily approved legislation that would restrict financial aid that directly benefits the Palestinian Authority until it takes credible steps to end what lawmakers say is a practice of rewarding Palestinians who kill Americans and Israelis.
