Did you know that a complete collection of all of the Daled Minim is growing in our back yard at the Brooklyn Botanic Gardens? See for yourself. For the 6th year, the Brooklyn Botanic Gardens will be hosting a special tour of it’s Daled Minim plants for all to come and see during Chol Hamoed.
Alternate side parking (street cleaning) regulations will be suspended Thursday and Friday, October 5 and 6, for Sukkos. All other regulations, including parking meters, remain in effect.

With sadness we inform you of the passing of Professor Dr. Yitzchok Block, OBM, one of the first Shluchim of the Rebbe, who served the Jewish students of the University of Western Ontario, and the patriarch of a large family of Chabad Chassidim and Shluchim all accross North America.
What a wonderful way to share the message of Yom Tov by bringing joy and a smile to the people who need it most. The idea was to get the wider Sydney community involved to bake over 10,000 honey cookies to be distributed by parents, teens and kids who throughout Tishrei would visit nursing homes, hospitals and homeless shelters to bring joy along with a delicious home-baked gift.
