Video: Survivor of Auschwitz Returns in Defiance

“There are no words to describe the emotion felt as I witnessed my grandfather relieve his experiences at the entrance of the death camp – Auschwitz-Birkenau. The same place he stood 73 years ago as a small child,” says the grandson of Rabbi Nissen Mangel, who returned to Auschwitz this week in defiance after narrowly surviving the camp and its infamous “doctor” Jospeh Mangele YMS as a 10-year-old boy.

Listening Booth Coming to Crown Heights

This week, youth organizations throughout the country will host various open forums to discuss the challenges faced by today’s youth, allowing individuals to share their personal experiences and ideas for how we should be addressing these pervasive issues as a community. Purim Celebrated in the Canadian Armed Forces

After receiving donations to be distributed to soldiers across Ontario, 4th Canadian Division Chaplains Captain Lazer Danzinger and Lieutenant Colonel Christopher Ryan, decided to share the work load. Last week, they spent an afternoon assembling food and gift packages destined for Jewish soldiers, public service employees and veterans for the holiday of Purim which was celebrated on Sunday, March 11th, 2017.
