WORCESTER, MA — Yeshiva Academy, a small Jewish school that has operated continuously in the city since 1959, owes tens of thousands of dollars to the city and others, has failed to comply with city regulations and faces liens and foreclosures on its properties, among other problems.

The Motzei Shabbos segment of the National Teen Shabbaton was a red carpet event on a three-floor yacht filled with activities and inspiration – from havdallah with Rabbi Freundlich from Beijing, to an XBox Kinect video game competition, sushi and paninis made to order, meaningful farbrengens, non-alcoholic mixed drinks, drum circles, lights, music, dancing and touching photo cards made by the teens for Chabad’s Children of Chernobyl.
