KINUS: New Speakers this Year at Convention

BROOKLYN, NY [CHI] — Every year during the Kinus Hashluchim, there is a plethora of workshops offered to shluchim giving them an opportunity to further develop their skills in an array of areas pertaining to shlichus.

This year, Rabbi Moshe Kotlarsky and the Vaad Hakinus announced a packed schedule of seminars and workshops conducted by experts covering all areas relevant to shlichus. Some of the instructors this year including Rabbi Mendel Duchman on fundraising, Rabbi Laibe Morcowitz on Chinuch, etc.

S. PETERSBURG, Russia — This week in Russia’s northern capital, the City Administration and community groups hosted the public campaign “March Against Hate”. Mark Grubarg, the Chairman of the Jewish community of S. Petersburg, took part in this event – a gathering whose objective is to demonstrate against inter-ethnic and inter-religious hatred. This movement was inspired by the memory of renowned ethnographer Nikolai Girenko, who was brutally murdered by nationalists in 2004.
