Drunk Driver Rolls His SUV on Eastern Parkway

Crown Heights, Brooklyn — At 6:50 this evening pedestrians witnessed a very wild scene on Eastern Parkway when a SUV lost control and rolled over about 3 times, according to witnesses and came to rest on a parked car and a tree on the other side of the ‘island’.

A delegation of Lubavitch from the US shown here with survivors and officers sometime in 1947, at the Poking DP camp in Germany. Hundreds of Chabad Chasidim were interned in the camp, which openend in January 1946 and reached its maximum of 7,645 Jewish inhabitants on October 19, 1946. It had several Talmud Torahs with more than 200 pupils, as well as a Lubavitcher and a Klausenburger Yeshiva with a combined 500 pupils. The camp closed on February 16, 1949.

New Shluchim to Radlett, England

The new Shluchim were appointed by Rabbi Leivi Sudak of Lubavitch of Edgware.

Princeton, NJ — Last week N.J. Gov. Jon S. Corzine broke his left leg in two places, as well as six ribs, his sternum and a vertebra – and after seeing crash photos, his doctor says he’s “lucky.”
