HAMBURG, Germany — A Jewish school opened this week in a Hamburg, Germany, building which prior to World War II was used to teach 400 Jewish kids.

New Shluchim to California

Rabbi Mendy and Mrs Dini (nee Benjaminson) Avtzon of Crown Heights have recently moved out on Shlichus to Marina Del Rey, CA.

The Avtzon’s were brought out by Rabbi Danny Yiftach-BaHashem and will be working in the field of adult education. They have already kicked off with many great programs, including the JLI Lecture Series and preparations for the High Holidays.
