Fundraising Lecture at the Kollel starting Sunday

CROWN HEIGHTS, Brooklyn [CHI] — There will be a Shloshim gathering in honor of the Reb Zev Yosef and Rochel Simons of Sydney, Australia, this Tuesday night, January 22nd at Chovevei Torah 885 Eastern Parkway, [between Albany and Troy Ave], at 8:00 PM sharp. There will be a Siyum Mishnayos and a guest speaker, Rabbi YY Jacobson who will address the crowd.

Tuesday – Rally at the Ohel

CROWN HEIGHTS, Brooklyn [CHI] — There will IYH be a rally at the Ohel, this Tuesday, Tes Vov Shevat, the 22nd of January. Busses will be leaving at 5:00 PM from 770 and will be returning at 7:30 PM. For ages 5 to 12, $3.

Press Conference Today 1PM at the JCM

Last night, State Senator Eric Adams called a last-minute press conference for TODAY AT 1:00 P.M. in front of the Jewish Children’s Museum, 792 Eastern Parkway, to DENOUNCE the vicious recent attacks on our community by violent young criminals. DON’T BE CYNICAL—SHOW UP!

The media will also be there. Let them see a crowd too!

We all say, “Why don’t the politicians do anything?” Well, Sen. Adams won’t do anything, if we show him we don’t care by not showing up at his press conference.

Please! Let’s turn out in numbers! Show we care about crime. Let Sen. Adams see that we support his initiative. TAKE A FEW MINUTES OUT OF YOUR DAY—AND BE THERE at 1:00 p.m.

Davening Times in the Rebbes House

Throughout Yud Shvat, the day of the Histalkus of the Frierdiker Rebbe and the day the Rebbe accepted the Nessius, the Rebbes house will be open for Tefilos. Times are as follows:

Wednesday 9th of Shvat: Maariv – 6:45pm for 770 Bochurim, Smicha Bochurim and Kvutzeh Bochurim.

Thursday 10th of Shvat: Shacharis – 9:30am for Zal Bochurim.
Mincha – 3:15pm for Mesivta Bochurim.

CROWN HEIGHTS, Brooklyn [CHI] — The community is invited to participate in the Siyum an Hachnasas Sefer Torah, in honor of Rebbitzin Cherna Ushpol and HaRav HaChossid Yitzchok Dovber Ushpol OBM. It will IYH take place tomorrow, Wednesday, Tes Shvat, January 16th. The Siyum will be held at 422 Crown St, [corner Brooklyn Ave], the Sefer Torah will then be led with the traditional procession at 3:00 pm to 770 Bais Rabbeinu Sheb’bavel and will be followed by hakafos.
