Picture of the Day: Newborn Boy Named After Toulouse Terror Victim

On the 22nd of March, 2012, about 72 hours after the tragic news of the brutal massacre of a father and three children in Toulouse, France shocked the world, a baby boy was born to Zalmy and Chaya Wolff (nee Inglis) of Crown Heights. This morning, the newborn was named after Aryeh, the 6-year-old son of Yonatan and Eva Sandler, who was murdered, along with his father and 3-year-old brother Gavriel, on his way to school that morning.

On the day before 27 Adar, 1992, the Rebbe stood on his feet for many hours distributing thousands of dollars for Tzedaka, as was his usual Sunday custom. Afterwards, the Rebbe davened Marriv, and the gathered chassidim were intrigued as to why the Rebbe was taking so long to finish Krias Shma.
