Chabad’s Honk for Heroes Car Parade bring cheer, music and gratitude around county. Dozens of cars participated in this unity and community event organized by Chabad of Orange County, led by Rabbi Pesach and Chana Burston.
Appreciation is shown not just through words, but through action. The administration of the Bais Rivkah Head Start program did just that, arranging appreciation packages to each of their teachers.
History was made in Lynbrook once again with its first ever Lag B’Omer car parade with music and beautiful car displays of Jewish pride.
Eight Bar Mitzvah boys who found themselves without large celebrations, received a special parade this Lag B’Omer, music, convertibles and all. The boys stopped by their friends houses to receive congratulations, and have a moment to celebrate with their classmates.
For Chabad of Lauderhill, Florida COVID-19 wasn’t a barrier for their Lag B’Omer celebrations. A large stage and stunt arena in an empty field became the center of the celebration as people drove in, parked, and enjoyed the show.
Another group of Crown Heights plasma donors made their way to a blood bank Lag B’Omer to have their plasma extracted. The convalescent plasma has been shown to help those in critical condition with the COVID-19 virus.

In a last-minute effort, NCFJE was successful in arranging floats to drive through the streets of Crown Heights and bring the feeling and joy of Lag B’Omer to everyone.

Crown Heights Hatzalah has done it again. Having paired with individuals involved in the wellbeing of the community and local physicians, they have developed a day-hab facility where patients will be able to get all the therapy they need and yet live at home. Families will be connected again.
On Tuesday evening, Bnos Chomesh Academy held a Staff Appreciation Evening. Realizing that an online event needed to be something spectacular, a few staff members went to work gathering prizes for a virtual Chinese Auction/Raffle.
