High Wind Warning For New York City

A Special Weather Statement has been published for New York City as high winds are expected through Saturday morning. According to the statement, winds are expected to range between 20mph and 30mph, with gusts possibly as high as 45mph.

The reopening was previously scheduled for Valentine’s Day, but restaurants requested an earlier reopening date to allow staff to prepare and the request has been granted. The reopening is subject to strict state guidance.
