My heart is broken. I am unable to speak. There are no ways for me to be able to express the great and all-consuming pain resulting from the murder of my dear husband Rabbi Jonathan and our sons, Aryeh and Gavriel, and of Miriam Monsonego, daughter of the dedicated principal of Ozar Hatorah and his wife, Rabbi Yaakov and Mrs. Monsonego.

May no one ever have to endure such pain and suffering.

French Police Close In on Toulouse Killer

French police searching for a gunman who shot dead four people at a Jewish school in Toulouse have launched a raid in the north of the city. Two police officers have been injured in the operation, which is reported to have begun before dawn and is ongoing. The suspect, named as Mohammed Merah, is reported to have travelled to fight in Afghanistan and to have been jailed there before escaping in 2008. Latest Update: 1:30 PM

The victims are Rabbi Jonathan Sandler, 30, his 3-year-old and 6-year-old sons Gabriel and Arieh and 8-year-old Miriam Monsonego, the children attended the Chabad Gan for children.
