CGI NY Marks End of 1st Month with Banquet!
PARKSVILLE [CHI] — Camper enjoyed a grand banquet, marking the end of the first month of summer, where winners of competitions were awarded prizes, and counselors and campers danced together.
Gan Menachem day camp enjoyed a day at the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island.
On their trip the campers bumped into some of the 40,000 boy scouts of America and put Teffilin on some of them.

Today the 12th of Av, 70 years ago, 770 Eastern Parkway was purchased, just five months after the Friediker Rebbe arrived in the states. Marking this day the campers in Gan Menachem day camp got a tour of the apartment in which the Friediker Rebbe lived.

Camp Hachyal in Minnesota have been enjoying a packed program the past few weeks, including a Shabbos at Chabad of Omaha, NE, a day in Des Moines, IA for carting, golf, rock climbing, and batting cages.

This week nine camps from South Florida joined together for a CGI unity day, organized by, Rabbi Shmuly G. of Chabad Youth Network of Florida. Two incredible programs were arranged; one for the boys camps and another for the girls camps.

Bochurim in Yeshivas Kayitz Minnesota enjoyed a packed first week, which started off with a hands on lesson in Shechita in which they shechted a lamb, which they barbecued and ate later that day, a trip to Wells Minnesota for a swim, a visit to Mall of America, the largest mall in the world where they put on Teffilin with tens of shoppers, and a go-cart course at 45mph!
