Camps Learn in Memory of Nosson Deitsch OBM

This year, campers in Gan Israel Overnight Camps all over the country are learning about the history and order of the daily Tefillos.

The beautiful color “Va’ani Tifeelusee” booklet designed by Spotlight Design goes through the first half of davening – from Modeh Ani till Kaddish following Yishtabach. Every Tefilla is accompanied by a relevant part from Gemora pertaining to that part of Davening.

There are also the Halochos, Minhagim and history of how that Tefilla was compiled and why it is in that place in davening. A short chassidic thought and story are included as well.

At the end of each Tefilla there are review questions.

The project was researched by a team of bochurim from 770, in their spare time, in memory of their friend Nosson Deitsch OBM.

The second booklet will go through the rest of the Teffilos.

    I am a head counselor in a day camp and I tried getting this amazing program to be taught in my day camp. I wanted it because it has a very good structure which taught davening to kids and also i was good friends with Nosson so i thought it would have been so nice to have this taught in his memory. But even with numerous phone calls I was unable to get this program for my camp. So a big yasher koach to the people that put this together but if you guys really knew Nosson and wanted to emulate at least a little of how he acted towards other Jews the “team of bochurim” would have made sure every camp could have taught it.

    Tmimim: if you are putting out a booklet in English, make sure that you are doing it properly. Shocking to see that even the word Torah isn’t capitalized, not to mention all other words that should be. Why did no responsible adult (expert in English) look this over and edit? It is a beautiful idea, but very poorly done language wise.
    Tmimim are so used to doing projects, and have wonderful ideas and initiatives. Just have an adult brhind you making sure that it worthy of being printed-l’doirois.

    i know the guys who did it, and they did an amazing job, they deserve all the respect in the world.the 770 bachurim lead by s hecht is an inspiration to us all! Btw distraught head counselor when did you ask? could it be the booklets ran out and the michabrim are busy in camp?

    Is there a place this can be accessed? either online for download or a hard copy?
