Camp Gan Israel in Parksville, NY marked the completion of the first session of camp, a month filled with learning, fun and spiritual growth. Of particular note was the success of the learning directors’ ‘Kluger’ program, a game-show which creates a fun and competitive atmosphere out of learning class.
Two beautiful wooden gazebos were recently donated by Hershey Chitrik and his mother Slava to Gan Yisroel-Parksville in loving memory of Shmuel ben R’ Aaron Chitrik, OBM, a former staff-member in camp who passed away on the 20th of Tammuz during the summer of 1987.
