Campers Get Hands-on Lesson on the Making of Tefilin

Talented presenter and Sofer (and CGI-NY alumni) Rabbi Yosef Serebryanski bedazzled the campers of Gan Yisroel as they witnessed an informative presentation on the process of Tefilin making and writing, to help visualize what they’re studying in learning classes.

Unique to the presentation was the small intimate setting, and a chance for the campers to practice their safrus skills with real feather, ink, and parchment to write their name on and keep as a memento.
