Israeli Bochur Arrested After Punching Cop in the Face

CROWN HEIGHTS, Brooklyn [CHI] — At around 4:30am, an Israeli Bochur was arrested for taking a swing and striking a Police Officer on Kingston Avenue and President Street. Apparently the Bochur was intoxicated and got into an altercation with another Bochur, but when police tried to intervene the Bochur assaulted the cop.

Hatzalah Member Blocked from Responding to Medical Emergency

CROWN HEIGHTS, Brooklyn [CHI] — A Hatzalah member was barred from responding to an emergency call at around 10:30 on Wednesday night. The emergency was to that of a passed out person at the intersection of Montgomery Street and Kingston Avenue, and the Hatzalah member tried to make his way up Kingston Avenue from Empire Boulevard, but was barred by ‘task force’ Police Officers who refused to let the member through.

Farbrengen at the Hakhel Sukka

CROWN HEIGHTS, Brooklyn [CHI] — In the spirit of the Hakhel Igud Aveichim built a huge Sukka at 651 Montgomery St, where there was special every night of Sukkos so far. Wednesday there was a farbrengen for Talmidei Beis Hamidrash, with Rabbi Akiva Wagner.
