Tonight: Tzeischem L’Sholom for 128 OT Bochurim

Oholei Torah Zal is this year sending 128 Bochurim as Shluchim to 26 communities around the world.

The farewell gathering will take place tonight at 8:30pm in the Oholei Torah Ballroom Today (Isru Chag Sukkos, October 16th) located at 667 Eastern Parkway. There will be a special sections for ladies.

The evening is in memory of HaBochur HaTomim Sholom Dovber Raitport A”H who passed away on Simchas Torah in 5761.

The Last Night of Simchas Bais Hashuaiva

For the last night of Simchas Bais Hashuaiva dancing started at 9:30 and went strong with many children dancing up until 1:00am. The music was by Yossi Cohen with a variety of singers. After the dancing the crowd marched up Kingston Ave to 770 where as customary the entire Tehillim is recited.

Mivtza Lulav on a Sukkah Mobile in London!

The walls of the Sukkah were swaying, the Schach was almost flying away, and it really looked like the Sukkah was some time soon going to fall down. But there was no hurricane, no thunderstorm, no rain, it was hardly windy, but the signs of the Sukkah were flapping it looked like they would not be gracing our Sukkah much longer…

The Sukkah mobile was speeding down the road on the way to Mivtzoim in Southgate, London. Where over 300 people bentched Lulov and Esrog

Simchas Bais Hashuaiva in New Haven

Over 100 children and parent took part in a very lively Simchas Bais Hashuaiva in New Haven Connecticut, the children called out the 12 Pesukim, sang and danced to music and were entertained by the Bochurim Hashluchim who made this event possible.
