Despite weeks of buildup, the all-out war that broke out in Ukraine in the early hours of Feb. 24, has brought shock and worry to the entire country, including its 350,000 Jews.
The excited chants of thousands of teens were heard throughout the streets of Crown Heights today as more and more CTeen Chapters streamed in for the 14th Annual CTeen International Shabbaton. The Shabbaton began with registration and a lavish dinner prepared for the teens who had just arrived from their long journeys.
