The Friendship Circle at the Center for Kosher Culinary Arts at Happy Home

BROOKLYN, NY [CHI] — This past Sunday, 55 Friendship Circle children and volunteers sporting bright green shirts boarded a coach bus and set out for Fun Time America to enjoy a full day of games, slides, arcades, and rides.

After a day full of non-stop fun, one child just didn’t want to leave. With tears she begged her mother to let her stay in camp.

FJC.ru

SARATOV, Russia –- Jews residing in the southern Russian city of Saratov were able to celebrate a monumental occasion this weekend, welcoming a new Torah scroll to the Great Choral Synagogue on the occasion of its 100-year anniversary. The scroll was donated by Rabbi Yitzhak Kubichek, the father of the region’s Chief Rabbi Yakov Kubichek, who decided to make this contribution upon his most recent visit to Saratov from his home in Jerusalem.

Last night, State Senator Eric Adams called a last-minute press conference for TODAY AT 1:00 P.M. in front of the Jewish Children's Museum, 792 Eastern Parkway, to DENOUNCE the vicious recent attacks on our community by violent young criminals. DON'T BE CYNICAL—SHOW UP!

The media will also be there. Let them see a crowd too!

We all say, “Why don't the politicians do anything?” Well, Sen. Adams won't do anything, if we show him we don't care by not showing up at his press conference.

Please! Let's turn out in numbers! Show we care about crime. Let Sen. Adams see that we support his initiative. TAKE A FEW MINUTES OUT OF YOUR DAY—AND BE THERE at 1:00 p.m.
