She is survived by her husband, Ben Tzion and her children Yosef (Shliach to St. Louise Park, MN), Menachem (Crown Heights), Moshe (Crown Heights), Yisroel Leib (Los Angeles, CA), Leah Zilbershtrom (Jerusalem, Israel), Rivka Tennenbaum (Crown Heights) and Shaindy Wilhelm (London, England).

The Levaya will take place in Israel, and will be leaving from “Shamgar” at 11:00pm to Har Hazaisim.

NEW YORK, NY [CHI] — Sunday, November 16, 2008 NCFJE celebrated its 68th Annual Awards Dinner at the Museum of Jewish Heritage on the lower west side of Manhattan.

The guests of honor were Mrs Marlena and her son Ari Librescu, wife and son of Liviu Librescu who was shot and killed in the attack on the campus of Virginia Tech.

GOSHEN, NY [CHI] — Chabad’s Youth Zone recently met at the Castle Fun Center for an exciting afternoon of roller-skating, Israeli snacks and good deeds. Chabad’s Youth Zone, “Kids in Action” is a unique program for children ages 5-12 in which they have a monthly opportunity to have a great time while also helping others. The lawyer for the Orthodox Jewish family says Motl Brody's bodily functions ceased Saturday. A machine had continued to work his lungs after he was pronounced dead Nov. 4 at Children's National Medical Center in Washington, D.C.
