Boruch Dayan Hoemes – Dov Ber Holtzberg OBM

With extreme sadness that we report the passing of Dov Ber Holtzberg OBM, son of kedoshim, the Rebbe’s Shluchim to Bombay Rabbi Gavriel Noach and Rivky Holtzberg HYD, at the young age of 4 years old. Dov Ber’s passing comes just one day before his family concludes the shloshim period of mourning for his martyred parents, making this a double tragedy for the family and indeed all Anash.

He was buried Tuesday morning next to his parents and older brother, who also died of the same disease two years ago. Dov had been living in a long-term care facility in Jerusalem.

Zalman Nelson – Lubavitch.com

SDEROT, Israel — Israel’s air strikes on Gaza, aimed at bringing relief and restoring some kind of security to the country’s southern residents, have been greeted with an onslaught of more than 150 rocket attacks, chasing many residents out of their homes and cities, and confining the rest to bomb shelters. Chabad centers in Sderot, Ashkelon and Ashdod remain open despite city-wide lockdowns, providing support to residents and soldiers between sirens that give residents 15-20 seconds warning of incoming rocket.
