CROWN HEIGHTS, Brooklyn [CHI] — Shomrim members checked out a call for a sighting of Terrence Nelson, the one accused of terrorizing vehicle owners in Crown Heights, and consequently encountered a much more serious call just across the street.

A Bochur approached one of the members who was staking out the alleyway while others were inside checking it and alerted him to a Black male who was climbing onto the back porch of a Montgomery Street home.

Enjoy this 12 minute clip, compiled by Shrurem, giving us another glimpse of the kedoshim and their peulos. Some of the footage was taken just days before they were taken from the world so brutally.

Men are invited to tonight’s Keren Simchas Chosson VeKallahs auction viewing that will include a wine tasting, deluxe Sushi bar, hot buffet and lavish Viennese table.

The program will consist of a performance of the illusionist Shimi Illuzini and the prize drawing for men’s prizes only, the event chairman is Mendy Pellin. The viewing begins at 8:30pm and the program begins at 10:15pm in the Oholei Torah Ballroom, 667 Eastern Parkway.

LA Cheder Menachem 3rd Grade Trip

RANCHO PALOS VERDES, CA [CHI] — The third Grade children of Cheder Mencahem-Los Angels visited the Abalone Cove Shoreline Park in Palos Verdes California. At the park the boys had the opportunity to see the wonders of Hashem including the tidepools, bluff top viewing areas.They also went on a hike where the docent pointed out many of the unique plants and animals at the park. At the Park the Children said the 12 pesukim and recited Tanya and mishnayos.

SYDNEY, Australia — Rabbi Nachman Holtzberg and his wife, Frieda, understand the overwhelming loss many families in Victoria are experiencing.

Their son, Gavriel, and daughter-in-law, Rivka, were killed at the Chabad Jewish Centre in Mumbai during the terrorist attacks in November. Their grandson Moshe Holtzberg, 2, was saved by his nanny Sandra Samuel after she discovered him crying and soaked with blood, standing next to his parents' bodies.
