Despite the bad weather many turned out in support of Chabad, and enjoyed an evening of sushi, martinis and entertainment. At the conclusion of the evening the winners were drawn.

With sadness we inform you of the passing of the oldest Chabad Chossid, Harav Hagon Reb Lipman Schapiro from Crown Heights at the age of 97.
He was the Rov of Empire Shtibel and a member of Vaad Rabonei Lubavitch. He was Zoche to Bonim U’vney Bonim children and grand children and great grand children as well as Mashpim and Askonim.
He is survived by his children: Sholom Ber Schapiro, Raizel Goldberg, Yehuda Leib Schapiro, Gavriel Schapiro and Nochum Schapiro.
The Levaya will be leaving from the Shomrei Hadas Chapel at 1:30pm and passing by 770 at around 2:00pm
