Chief Rabbi of Russia Meets with Prime Minister Putin

MOSCOW [FJC] — On January 26, Chief Rabbi of Russia Berel Lazar held a meeting with Prime Minister Vladimir Putin. The event took place on the 65th anniversary of the Soviet Red Army’s liberation of the Auschwitz concentration camp. The conversation touched on the struggle against revisionism of the history of the Second World War, as well as the construction of the Museum of Jewish History.

Motzoi Shabbos: Rally at the Ohel

There will be Melava Malka rally at the Ohel this Motzoi Shabbos, Tu B’Shvat, January 30th. The rally will be for all children ages 5 to 12. Buses leave 770 at 7:00 and return at 9:00. There will be a special program in honor of Tu B’Shvat.
