Chabad Youth Network Hosts CGI Unity Day in S. FL
This week nine camps from South Florida joined together for a CGI unity day, organized by, Rabbi Shmuly G. of Chabad Youth Network of Florida. Two incredible programs were arranged; one for the boys camps and another for the girls camps.
Despite all the talk about Community Council elections lately, I find I can’t really bring myself to care too much about who’s in and who’s out. My apathy is partially due to the fact that I don’t really know what the Community Council does, but I think the bigger reason might be that like other women in Crown Heights, I can neither run nor vote in these elections.

The highly popular Chabad World Cup video which was promoted last week by Jewish.tv has already received over 75,000 views in less then a week since it has been posted online. Many tens of thousand more have seen it on Israeli television stations which broadcast the film in their World Cup reporting.

Be that as it may, there is at least one valuable lesson that seems to mimic politics:

He goes along weeping, carrying the bag of seed; he will surely return with songs of joy, carrying his sheaves” (Psalms 126)
