CROWN HEIGHTS [CHI] — A Jewish girl came very close to being the victim of an assault, or worse, at the hands of an unruly group of 4 black males late Motzai Shabbos. The quick thinking actions of two Bochurim foiled the attack, and the would-be attackers fled.
As Yud Shvat draws to an end, Bochurim from Yeshivos around the world begin making their way back to the study halls reenergized and invigorated from the inspiration they drew during their Shabbos at the Ohel. Breaking out in a lively dance, the Bochurim from Mesivta Chicago sang “Tayereh Brider…” as they prepared to board their buses for their 16 hour trip back.
