Neo-Nazi Speaks About Conversion to Judaism

OXFORD, UK — About 500 people across the UK came out to hear former Neo Nazi Pawel – Pinchas Bromson of Warsaw, Poland, tell his dramatic story for the first time in public, organised by Chabad on Campus UK, about his conversion from being a Neo-Nazi, radical hater of foreigners, including Jews and Arabs, until he discovered that he and his wife were themselves Jewish.

Worcester Yeshiva Faces Hard Times, Owes Money, Faces Liens

WORCESTER, MA — Yeshiva Academy, a small Jewish school that has operated continuously in the city since 1959, owes tens of thousands of dollars to the city and others, has failed to comply with city regulations and faces liens and foreclosures on its properties, among other problems.

The Motzei Shabbos segment of the National Teen Shabbaton was a red carpet event on a three-floor yacht filled with activities and inspiration – from havdallah with Rabbi Freundlich from Beijing, to an XBox Kinect video game competition, sushi and paninis made to order, meaningful farbrengens, non-alcoholic mixed drinks, drum circles, lights, music, dancing and touching photo cards made by the teens for Chabad’s Children of Chernobyl.

It is the day every woman knows they cannot take their husband shopping. The Sunday on your calendar you circle well in advance. The one evening you tell your relatives you will be late to an event due to a “prior engagement.” It’s finally here: Super Bowl Sunday!

With the biggest football event of the year being played in the “everything-is-bigger” state of Texas, this Super Bowl – in Dallas – will undoubtedly be one of the better Bowl games viewed in recent memory.

Cheder at the Ohel Builds A Mishkon

In conjunction with Parshas Teruma, Rabbi Leibel Paris’ first grade class at Cheder at the Ohel built a model replica of the Mishkon. It is complete with the krushim covered in gold, adonim covered in sliver, the tabos and even breechim connecting it all together. They also put the perachim, aron, mitzbeach and other kelim inside.
