Today, the 30th of Shvat, marks 5 years to the cold blooded murder of Efraim Klein HYD, a resident of Crown Heights who had been a staple in the community and a figure known and liked by all, who was shot and killed. The investigation into his murder has long since gone cold.

As part of the Chayolei Tzivos Hashem program, students receive miles from their teachers for a variety of reasons, such as good behavior in class and davening nicely. With these miles the students then scan them at the school’s kiosk to be added to their account. These miles are put towards any item or items of their choice in an online auction by Chayolei Tzivos Hashem.

A team of tractors was clearing the snow from the streets and sidewalks on S. Johns Place and Albany. The snow was cleared into dump trucks and hauled away to an undisclosed location. Kids watched in amazement as the huge mountains of snow was cleared.
