Cheder at the Ohel held a pre Lag’ B’omer parade today in Valley Stream, NY. With a police escort and a car playing A cappella chassidish music, the children marched from their school, down the block, holding posters describing the different mitzvots that Jews can do and posters of different Jewish seferim.

Letter: Parade Vaad Answers Controversial Issues
In a letter sent out by the ‘Vaad Members – Lag B’omer Parade Committee’ they responded to the numerous calls and emails they have been receiving with concerns about the parade. In the letter they seek to clarify their positions in order to avoid any misunderstandings.
