Following Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas address to the 66th session of the General Assembly at the United Nations, in which he submitted their official bid for statehood recognition, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu gave a rousing speech in which he quoted the Lubavitcher Rebbe. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu addresses the 66th General Assembly of the United Nations.

Taking the podium of the United Nations General Assembly to educate that body about Israel’s impassioned defense of human rights and contributions to the world community, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu referred to guidance he received from the Rebbe, Rabbi Menachem M. Schneerson, of righteous memory, and called on that body to turn away from the injustices of the past and finally confront Islamist terror head on.
