In the country that had once tried to annihilate them completely, Jews throughout Germany are getting ready to light their menorahs for the upcoming Chanukah holiday, spreading light in a land that a mere two generations ago was the ultimate symbol of fear and darkness.
PARK SLOPE [CHI] — A sizeable crowd gathered at Brooklyn’s Grand Army Plaza in order to partake in the Menorah lighting ceremony sponsored by Chabad of Park Slope, New York City Mayor Michael R. Bloomberg was honored with lighting the first light.

On Sunday, December 11th, Dr. Brian Grobois decided to go hiking. The 54 year old doctor, who was a psychiatrist and lived with his family in New Rochelle, loved to hike.
