CGI Florida Hosts MBP Awards Ceremony

As every year, the campers of Gan Israel-Florida overnight camp worked on preparing a special and most befitting present for the Rebbe with their annual Mishnayos Be’Al Peh program; together, the campers learned and were tested on close to 30,000 lines of Mishnayos, Tanya, Siddur and Yediyos Kloliyos. This figure includes: 48 complete perakim, 651 Mishnas and 1,868 lines of Tanya.

Young Chassidim living in Crown Heights may not be aware of the fact that Crown Heights was once predominantly a Jewish neighborhood. When the Jews moved en- masse to other neighborhood, our Rebbe told his Chassidim not to take part in the exodus, but to remain in Crown Heights. It was a frightful position, but the Chassidim stayed.
