On Sunday, December 11th, Dr. Brian Grobois decided to go hiking. The 54 year old doctor, who was a psychiatrist and lived with his family in New Rochelle, loved to hike. He was in Washington State at the time because of a simcha, and he planned to wrap up his trip with a vigorous walk on the scenic and picturesque trails of Mount Rainier.
Chabad Lubavitch of Ulster County is proud to host the first solar powered Menorah in the world. It is standing in the Center of Woodstock, NY. “We are very excited about this,” said Rabbi A. B. Itkin, who came up with the idea, “and hope to be able to duplicate this in other Menorahs around the wold.”
In what has become a tradition for the Jewish community of Los Angeles, Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa will once again attend Chabad of the Valley’s Chanukah @ Citywalk celebration and concert.
