Chabad Hosts Netanyahu’s Entourage for Shabbos

“Our Father Who art in Heaven, Protector and Redeemer of Israel, bless Thou the State of Israel which marks the dawn of our deliverance,” the prayer leader, a pro-Israel lobbyist on Ottawa’s Parliament Hill, recited in Hebrew Saturday morning in the Marriott Hotel’s Orchard Room, which was temporarily turned into a synagogue.

The Shul, led by Rabbi Shneor Segal, was recently featured in international news headlines due to a foiled Iranian terror plot against the Shliach and the local institutions. The pictures are unclear and badly focused due to the fact that the Karliner Rebbe goes through much effort to avoid being photographed.

This Sunday, hundreds of men and women attended a grand Siyum HaRambam celebration in Melbourne, Australia, at Yeshivah Centre’s Werdiger Hall. The event marked the completion of the 30th cycle of three daily chapters of Rambam, and the 10th cycle of one daily chapter of Rambam.
