New Chabad House Delayed Due to Lack of Funds

Long Island Friendship Circle Awards Volunteers
The Friendship Circle of West Hempstead celebrated another year of tremendous accomplishment. Over 120 volunteers were recognized and awarded at the West Hempstead Friendship Circle annual evening of recognition and awards ceremony on Tuesday, May 22. The event was hosted at the POSCH club inside Long Island’s prestigious Garden City Hotel.
On Wednesday, May 30, the 10 finalists from the New York Stock Exchange Big Start-Up competition visited the New York Stock Exchange to ring the Closing Bell. Representing New York among the finalists was Lubavitcher entrepreneur Zalmy Duchman, founder of the Fresh Diet.
